N*W*C is produced by Speak Theater Arts, a progressive theater company dedicated to presenting dangerously compelling original works. STA stage productions step outside the boundaries of most traditional theater by drawing from our diverse backgrounds. We've uprooted and redirected our past performance experiences in stand up comedy, slam poetry, television, education, graphic novels and hip hop to redefine the live stage experience.

The company adheres to the mantra "Don't be boring.” A fundamental objective of STA is to reach out to new audiences under the impression that today's theater does not speak to them. School and community outreach as well as artist-in-residence programs are a fundamental component of our work as we strive to enhance cultural awareness, acceptance, and artistic risk-taking.
